Strawluxe Straw 13kg

Strawluxe straw bales come from cereals (wheat, spelt, barley) of Italian production without the use of synthetic substances. As a natural and eco-friendly product, it is a soft and comfortable bedding, ideal for mare and foal boxes. With a minimum 200% absorption capacity, this straw bedding ensures comfort for horses and easy handling for stable operators.

Processing

Strawluxe bales are completely natural and processed exclusively mechanically: the cutting, chopping, and pressing of the straw into bales involve no additives or other substances. Dusting prior to packaging makes the product suitable for allergic horses or those with respiratory problems. Strawluxe bale bedding is packed in handy 13 kg bales, pre-cut into 4 slices and wrapped in film packaging to ensure protection from external agents during transportation and storage.

Usage

Replacing an alternative bedding

It is important to gradually accustom the horse to the new bedding: during daily cleaning, integrate the old bedding with small quantities of Strawluxe until full replacement within 7-10 days.

New Box

Distribute one small bale of Strawluxe per 4 square meters (4 bales per box). This quantity is indicative and must be tailored to each case depending on the material of the box floor. During daily cleaning, remove only dirty parts and add new material as needed. Every 30 days, completely remove the bedding, clean the box, and leave it open until the floor is completely dry. After re-covering the floor with straw, leave the box open for half an hour to allow the dust to settle before allowing the horse to enter.

Natural and highly absorbent, Strawluxe straw bales are a completely natural and disposable equine bedding with no impact on the environment, thus quickly composting into nitrogen-rich manure.
