Original Höveler ZF Plus is tailored to the increased needs of pregnant or lactating mares. This complete muesli is particularly rich in energy, protein, and contains all important nutrients to support both the mare and the foal.

Original ZF Plus contains carefully selected components such as high-quality calcium, essential amino acids, and additional vitamins – including Vitamin A – thus compensating for any existing nutritional gaps in the ration. High-quality and readily available minerals, as well as a balanced ratio of calcium and phosphorus, are essential for the foal's bone development.

The protein and nutrient content, adapted to the increased requirements, thus creates the basis for the development of the unborn foal and supports milk production in the nursing mare.

Feeding Recommendation

From the 8th month of gestation, we recommend gradually replacing the usual hard feed with ZF Plus and feeding ZF Plus as the sole hard feed until the end of the 6th month of lactation.
